Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Data Analyst at MedVA. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, creating data models, and communicating insights to support decision-making processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Management:
- Collect and maintain data from various internal systems and external sources.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze attrition rates, growth metrics, staffing forecasts, client churn, and hiring/placement data.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into business performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Insights & Recommendations:
- Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Develop predictive models to forecast staffing needs and client churn.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Visualization & Communication:
- Create clear and concise data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate findings.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a manner that is easy to understand and act upon.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques.
- Recommend and implement improvements to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to provide data-driven insights.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel is a must, SQL, Python, R preferred).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in the staffing or HR industry is a plus.
