About the position:
Will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing reports, and presenting insights to help inform business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data models, and create visualizations that drive actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Conduct complex data analyses and generate reports that inform business decisions.Work with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data models that support these needs.Develop and maintain data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.Collaborate with data engineers and other data analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency.Develop and implement data quality checks and controls to ensure data accuracy.Identify trends and patterns in data to inform business decisions.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.Mentor and train junior data analysts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis.Experience with Azure, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and an excellent foundation in data warehousing.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Experience mentoring and training junior data analysts is preferred.Excellent communications skills to talk in English
