Position Summary
The software testing engineer in this role will develop end-to-end testing solutions for one of Nava’s major government partners. This is an opportunity to create a more secure and equitable experience for the public. The team will improve the Medicare beneficiary experience by providing a comprehensive, integrated, and personalized care platform that helps users navigate their healthcare options and maximize their benefits.
- Design and execute test plans for manual and automated testing.
- Analyze, write, and execute a testing plan into an existing platform.
- Identify and report bugs, errors, and usability issues.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to discuss specifications and suggest improvements.
- Taking part in hiring activities (e.g., submitting referrals, conducting interviews, and attending interview debriefs), as needed.
- Programming languages (Java, JavaScript) Experience with implementing an end-to-end testing solution
- Experience with implementing a test-driven development environment
- Experience with CypressTesting Tools and Frameworks: JMeter, TestRail
- Defect Management: Defect logging and tracking tools (Jira), defect prioritization and severity assessment, root cause analysis of defects
- Testing Techniques: Functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, performance testing, usability testing
- API testing (for Office API and PPL AMA API)
- Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Effective collaboration with development teams and stakeholders (e.g. CVP)Analytical skills
- Knowledge of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) systems
