Job Description

The Event Management Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the completion of events. The coordinator’s duties include assisting with specialized tasks, coordination of teams, and establishing relationships with 3rd party vendors and professionals across the company. An Event Management Coordinator must be able to delegate tasks to appropriate teams and manage progress to ensure desired deadline. In this role, the coordinator must be decisive and express good judgement when addressing issues especially when time is limited. This position requires the individual to remain calm under pressure and assist the team wherever is needed. At the end of each event, the coordinator will analyze feedback from clients to gauge success and what the team needs to improve on moving forward.

Requirements:

  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee logistics and ensures availability of teams and facilities
  • Leadership skills to motivate team in making consistent progress
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with team to set realistic deadlines and expectations of projects
  • Self-starter—Able to deliver task without significant oversight
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and prioritize projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experiences in project management
  • Minimum 1-2 years Digital Operations or Media Operations facility strongly preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail during high pressure situations
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • A willingness to receive professional certifications within Certified Event Planner (CEP) Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Industry Network
  • Technology Proficiency within Event Operations space
  • Experience with diverse event types 

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
