Job Summary

The Principal P&C Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives and providing expert guidance to leaders and teams across Nextech. This role will serve as a trusted advisor, fostering a culture of inclusion, belonging and continuous development while aligning HR strategies with business objectives. Acting as a central liaison for key People & Culture (P&C) functions, the Principal P&C Business Partner will collaborate on career pathways, performance management and organizational design, ensuring Nextech’s people strategies are future-ready and aligned with our mission.

Essential Functions
  • Collaboration with People & Culture (P&C) Functions:
  • Act as a liaison between P&C teams, including Talent Acquisition (TA), Learning & Development (L&D) and P&C Business Partners, to align on career pathways, training programs and leadership development strategies.
  • Support initiatives for emerging leaders, intern programs and upskilling opportunities.
  • Advisory Role:
  • Partner with P&C Business Partners and leaders to provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational design and team development.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on complex HR challenges, fostering employee engagement and team cohesion
  • Compensation Support:
  • Collaborate on compensation-related initiatives, including the creation and maintenance of pay grades, salary ranges and equity frameworks to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.
  • Inclusion and Belonging Initiatives:
  • Champion inclusion and cultural awareness strategies that foster a sense of belonging and enhance diversity across the organization.
  • Provide support for advancing key inclusion initiatives to align with organizational values.
  • Performance Management Excellence:
  • Ensure the seamless execution of performance management processes, equipping leaders and employees to achieve their objectives effectively.
  • Guide leaders on best practices for performance feedback, goal setting and development planning.
  • Internal Mobility and Career Development:
  • Develop and manage structured career pathing processes, ensuring employees have actionable and transparent growth opportunities.
  • Organize and lead talent review and succession planning initiatives to prepare the organization for future leadership needs.
  • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:
  • Provide advice on complex employee relations matters, including conducting thorough and fair investigations into workplace concerns.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needed 


Minimum Requirements
  • 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
  • 5 years of experience in a HR Business Partner role within the SaaS industry
  • Experience scaling people operations processes in a 500+ employee organization
  • SHRM-CP or (S)PHR certification
  • Experience with compensation planning
  • Experience leading HR projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse, remote-first teams.
  • Track record of successfully implementing inclusion and belonging strategies in a high-growth organization.


Working Environment/Physical Demands
  • Remote within the United States
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 20% travel. 
  • Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor.
