Overview:
The Gracenote Sports Content team keeps track of 3,000 leagues across 200 different sports. This data is delivered in multiple languages to media clients, international sports federations, and national sports governing bodies. Our live sports data can also be seen on smart TVs and in cars.
Our team of soccer Live Data Operators are required to capture and register data during live professional soccer matches following well-defined standards and procedures. The team captures several live match events and uses Gracenote’s Sports-based tooling in the process. They work as quickly as possible watching, analyzing, and entering data to deliver the required deep sports data to our (media) customers within seconds. Your support and expert management of their workloads is crucial for the team’s success.
We are currently looking for a Process Coordinator to join our Live Data Sports team.
About The Role:
A passion for sports, leadership, and data collection, is what we are looking for in a Process Coordinator for the Gracenote Sports Content team, specializing in Latin American soccer. Together with a team of supervisors you will support and coordinate our Live Data Production (LDP) team that captures live sports data from mostly Latin American soccer
Responsibilities:
• You will train and supervise LDP live data entry editors while covering live soccer games.
• Ensure work is executed per predefined standards and processes, including post-game evaluations and data checks.
• Document staff performance and incidents. Make all necessary preparations for a day of live scoring. Make sure editors know what feed to access for their games or deal with last-minute schedule changes.
• Work supervision shifts as the team’s schedule requires. Your workdays will rotate between an early shift, typically 9 am to 6 pm, or a late shift: 3 pm to midnight, but times can change depending on the sports schedule.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Must be a Graduate in any field
• Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening and weekend shifts.
• Fluent in Spanish. A good level of English is required. Knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese is a bonus.
• Willing to develop your coaching and communication skills, and ability to give feedback constructively and clearly.
• Cool under pressure, working with live sports can get a little hectic at times.
• Passions for sports and soccer in particular.
• The role is hybrid, so you must live near Nielsen’s Mexico City office. Work from home is possible if an adequate workplace for working with live sports is available.
• You are willing to learn and have a positive attitude.
• Solid computer skills including working with Google Chrome and good internet searching skills.
