Description
This role involves accurately verifying and recording health and drug screening results, maintaining compliance with regulations, and ensuring up-to-date, error-free data entry. It also includes communicating test results confidentially to relevant parties, conducting follow-ups on inconclusive or positive results, and maintaining thorough documentation. Additionally, the role requires generating reports, providing excellent customer service, and coordinating with laboratories and third-party vendors for timely processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Verification of Test Results: Accurately verify health and drug screening results, ensuring all information is correctly recorded and reported.
- Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate data in our health records system, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and error-free.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all health and drug screening processes comply with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Communication: Communicate test results to appropriate parties, including HR, management, and employees, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up procedures for inconclusive or positive test results, including scheduling re-tests and notifying relevant personnel.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all verifications and communications related to health and drug screenings.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on screening activities and outcomes for review by management.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees and applicants by addressing questions and concerns related to health and drug screenings.
- Coordination: Coordinate with laboratories and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of tests.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in verifying and recording test results.
- Confidentiality: Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to health and drug screenings.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Experience: 2+ years experience of medical verifications in the US or North America
