We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to join our team. You will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient credentialing and onboarding of healthcare providers, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering positive relationships with providers, teams, vendors, and payers.
- Credentialing Process Management: Oversee the credentialing process from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all credentialing and re-credentialing activities.
- Provider Onboarding Assistance: Assist in the onboarding of new providers, ensuring all necessary documents and credentials are obtained and verified.
- Process and Workflow Development: Develop and implement efficient processes and workflows to streamline credentialing operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Meticulous Tracking and Organization: Maintain meticulous records and tracking systems for credentialing activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Professional Correspondence: Communicate effectively and professionally with providers, responding to inquiries and providing necessary information throughout the credentialing process.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate credentialing efforts with internal teams, external vendors, payers, and healthcare providers to facilitate seamless operations.
- Accessing and Working in Multiple Systems: Utilize and navigate various systems, including vendor and payer portals, to obtain and verify credentialing information accurately.
- Self-Starter and Autonomous: Take initiative and work independently to manage tasks and projects, demonstrating the ability to figure out new projects with minimal direction.
- Project Management: Flexibly manage multiple projects and initiatives related to credentialing and provider enrollment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines as needed.
- Minimum of 2 yearโs experience in healthcare credentialing
- Certification in Healthcare Credentialing (e.g., CPCS, CPMSM)
- Experience with credentialing software or database management systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to healthcare credentialing and enrollProven experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with providers, team members, and external stakeholders.
