Job Description
We’re looking for an Analyst, Corporate Strategy to join our Corporate Strategy team. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization to enhance business operations, develop and execute solution and market-level strategies, and drive multi-year strategy. This position reports to the Director, Corporate Strategy and will be based in our Carpinteria, New York, Austin offices or remotely. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team on developing/updating Procore’s Corporate Strategy and plan to achieve 3-year to 1-year objectives while supporting strategy development for other business units and high-priority initiatives
Perform quantitative and qualitative market, customer, and product research
Conduct sound, structured quantitative analysis and build data-driven business cases to support key strategic decisions
Support key strategic initiatives and strategic planning process, ensuring that activities are well communicated and on time
Enhance and deliver performance reporting, analysis, and insights
Support the Corporate Strategy team in developing and executing Procore’s monetization strategy for core markets and product solutions
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economic data, or a related field
3-5 years of work experience in corporate strategy, consulting, investment banking, or cross-functional business operations at a leading technology company (SaaS and/or high-growth company experience a plus)
An analytical thinker who can take initially ill-defined or abstract opportunities and create a structured, data-driven way of understanding / evaluating them
Sophisticated data analysis and financial modeling capabilities with a high level of attention to detail
Evidence of exceptional performance, proactive problem solving, adaptability, and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
Persuasive communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of internal and external audiences and interface regularly with executives across the business
Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic team player, and passionate about driving interesting, impactful work
Experience with Excel/Sheets required. Familiarity with SQL and Tableau or willingness to learn preferred
