Job Description
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) leads our marketing team and drives our company growth. We are looking for someone who can bring a strong team together, and create alignment with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to generate results across different markets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, brand management, digital marketing, social media marketing, marketing campaigns, product marketing, content management, partner marketing, and external communication and public relations.
You will lead a diverse team of marketers who will report to you, while working hard to execute and meet launch deadlines. Your role will involve guiding them as they deliver campaigns and projects across various marketing functions, so you can focus on strategic initiatives. This balance between leadership and strategy will enable you to achieve exceptional results and drive growth effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Conversion: Oversee and take full responsibility for the entire process of lead generation, conversion, and the overall performance of the marketing and sales funnel.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Brand Management: Develop and execute brand strategies to enhance brand awareness and loyalty. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and online advertising. Optimize digital PPC campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
Social Media Marketing: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and followers. Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Events Management: Plan, participate in, and/or execute industry events, webinars, and conferences. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
Campaigns: Design and manage marketing campaigns to promote products and services. Analyse campaign performance and adjust strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
Product Marketing: Collaborate with product teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products. Create compelling product messaging and positioning.
Content Management: Oversee content creation and distribution across various platforms. Ensure content aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
Graphic and Web Design: Lead the team that produces the design and development of marketing materials, including websites, brochures, and presentations. Ensure visual consistency and high-quality design.
Partner Marketing: Develop and maintain relationships with partners to support sustainable growth of our customer base. Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives and co-branded campaigns.
- External Communication and Public Relations: Manage external communications, including press releases, media relations, and public speaking engagements. Enhance the company's public image and reputation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a CMO or in a similar senior marketing role within the SaaS or Fintech industry.
Proven experience scaling multiple dozen million businesses.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and content management.
Experience in brand management and product marketing.
Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
Creative and KPI-driven thinker with a strategic mindset.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
