About the role:

As a Category Manager (m/f/d) at Redcare Pharmacy, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our assortment. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our e-commerce product portfolio in a health product category, with the aim of offering a range that is perfectly aligned with our customers' needs.

We are filling this role as a maternity replacement, planned for a period from January, 2025 – March, 2027. While we cannot guarantee a permanent role afterwards just yet, we are expanding rapidly, and we anticipate future opportunities for well-performing candidates.

Job Description

About your tasks:

  • You develop and implement category strategies to drive financial performance and improve product visibility for your assortment
  • You analyze category KPIs and market data to identify growth opportunities and new assortments, as well as to optimize performance and react to current developments
  • You manage onsite pricing and collaborate with marketing teams on product placement for campaigns and promotions
  • You work closely with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Controlling, Marketing) and external partners to streamline category processes
  • You support cross-functional projects to improve category structures, processes, and merchandising strategies

Qualifications

About you:

  • You have relevant experience in Category Management or similar roles, preferably in E-Commerce or for health-related products
  • You enjoy working very data-driven, and have strong analytics skills with the ability to interpret sales data, financial metrics, and market trends
  • You have a customer-focused mindset, and feel comfortable in dynamic environments, having the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and are fluent in English as well
  • You can work remotely a lot if you like, but are able and willing to meet with your team in the Cologne office at least once a month
