Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Leader (Indirect Corporate & Professional Services) will lead the development and implementation of category sourcing strategies for defined categories within MasterBrand Cabinets LLC. Using existing tools and processes, they will ensure that strategies deliver continuous value to Masterbrand and are well communicated both internally / externally to support execution of the vision.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage the MasterBrand Strategic Sourcing Process / Approval standard to generate category strategies for Corporate & Professional Services categories including but not limited to: Legal services, IT hardware and software, HR Services, Marketing materials and services, Travel, etc.
- Communicate and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, as well as suppliers, to design and develop best total cost sourcing strategies.
- Own relationship with external suppliers and the associated pricing impact these suppliers have on MasterBrands’ bottom line.
- Lead efforts to ensure strategies are consistently updated to reflect the latest internal / external environment.
- Ensure strategies, projects, RFIs, RFQs and associated analysis, etc. are delivered on time and prioritized to best meet needs of the company given supplier capabilities and market status.
- Identify, lead, and communicate best total cost improvement initiatives to meet company goals and growth needs.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels of the company, to understand their requirements and capabilities to develop solutions that meet the consumers’ needs by leveraging cost, service, product development, quality and risk management. Ensure data is fact-based so that internal and external vendors can utilize high value analytics to drive their decisions for performance enhancements.
- Be a key contributor of change management process for product development costing process.
- Drive the use of new and existing supply market data sources in conjunction with best practices to improve current and long-term operational performance. Lead the development and execution of a long-term strategy to collect, store and utilize data related to our supply chains.
- Provide support to ensure that stakeholders, team members, and suppliers are in compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Effectively prioritize and problem solve various business needs as identified or directed by Strategic Sourcing executive leadership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Business or related field required. MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience in managing indirect categories (specifically professional services or IT related items) across multi-site operations & multi-stakeholder environments

- Willingness to develop strong knowledge of categories; including understanding of cultural, legal, and geopolitical environment in region doing business.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize and execute to
achieve desired results - Strong organizational and execution skills, balance multiple priorities in an efficient manner, moving assignments forward with high quality execution, and effectively communicating progress and roadblocks with appropriate stakeholders.
- Proven track record with successful negotiation.
- Strong MS Office skillset.
