Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UI Engineer with expertise in React, Adobe AEM and Sitecore XM Cloud. The ideal candidate will be an expert in building scalable, high-performance web applications using a modern technology stack. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of user interfaces, ensuring exceptional digital experiences across our platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create solutions that align with our brand and business objectives, leveraging your deep knowledge of Java and .NET based UI development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of UI engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects using both Adobe AEM and Sitecore XM Cloud.
  • UI Development: Design and develop user interfaces using Adobe AEM and Sitecore XM Cloud, ensuring a consistent and responsive user experience across all digital platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend developers, and content creators to translate business requirements into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Customization: Customize and extend AEM and Sitecore components and templates to meet specific project requirements and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Integration: Integrate AEM and Sitecore XM Cloud with third-party systems and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of UI components to ensure optimal performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize UI components for performance and scalability, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for UI components, customizations, and integrations.
  • Innovation: Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in UI development, AEM, Sitecore XM Cloud, and related technologies, and drive the adoption of new tools and techniques.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  •  Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI development, with a focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM/Java), Sitecore XM Cloud (.NET), React/Next.Node.js front end frameworks, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  •  Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, Next and Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of AEM and Sitecore XM Cloud architecture, components, templates, and workflows.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Experience with AEM Sites, Assets, and building custom components.
  • Experience with Sitecore Helix principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including support and continuous integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and implement new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Sitecore Certification.
  • Experience with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Experience with building Azure Dev/Ops and Jenkins automation pipelines.
  • Experience with Selenium based Load and QA testing automation testing.
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux, Hooks).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).
