Job Description

The scope of Strategic Sourcing Manager is to provide value (e.g. hitting annual savings targets, reducing contractual risk, and meet stakeholder requirements) while building strong relationships with their internal business units and drive enterprise-wide sourcing, category management, and contract negotiation. This role will be an individual contributor on the Software Sourcing Team managing their work stream and supplier contracts from cradle to grave. Individuals successful in this role will be able to navigate sourcing processes with a sense of urgency, curate new strategies for vendor engagement, renewal processing, and stakeholder enablement, as well as achieve department and company-wide KPIs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology sourcing with a focus on Software in a high growth, dynamic environment
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to oversee simultaneously occurring projects, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Ability to spot trends in data and present findings in a clear/concise manner to stakeholders/leadership
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships at all levels
  • Be a proven creative thinker with a problem-solving approach to implement solutions at scale
  • Working knowledge of sourcing processes, methodologies, and approaches
  • Exhibit strong analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
  • Have an excellent track record of establishing relationships, influencing, and negotiating competing priorities among business partners
  • Can-do mentality and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $107,400 - $187,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
