We're seeking a talented individual to join our dedicated team as a Senior Recruiter, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our workforce. This is a Human Resources Analyst 2 classification (management service, non-supervisory) and is not represented by a union. The AA Rate Salary Range for this position is $5,167.00 to $7,599.00. This recruitment will be utilized to hire one Full-Time, Limited Duration position (up to 24 months). Note: This could lead to a permanent position. We will also consider a job rotation. What you will do: As a Senior Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify and attract talented candidates from diverse backgrounds. Your expertise will be key in crafting job announcements that not only reflect best practices but also resonate with individuals from various communities. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our workforce reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. You will engage with community organizations, educational institutions, and professional associations to foster connections and build a robust network of potential candidates. What we are looking for: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior or Development, Business or Public Administration, the Applied Behavioral Sciences, Industrial Relations or a job-related course of study determined by the appointing authority; and two years of Human Resource professional-level experience related to the position; OR Valid Certification as a Professional in Human Resource awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute, and three years Human Resource professional-level experience related to the position; OR Five years Human Resource experience related to the position. Three of the five years must have been at the professional-level. A master's degree in any of the above listed courses of study may substitute for one year of professional-level experience. Knowledge of human resource laws, rules, and regulations. Working knowledge of current management theory, human resource theories and best practices. Ability to work and lead effectively in a cross-cultural or multi-cultural organization, ensuring equity and inclusion initiatives are implemented and measured across the organization. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization and carry responsibilities independently with an awareness of human resources services issues and sensitivities. Experience in promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment and/or lived experience that will demonstrate your ability to do this job. What's in it for you?
