We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality security testing projects. As the Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the successful execution of both internal and client-facing security testing initiatives. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage multiple internal and external projects through proactive planning and clear communication.
- Identify, document, and mitigate potential risks and issues in collaboration with the team.
- Supervise resources across various business units, ensuring adherence to strict timelines for scoping, artifact gathering, validation, assessments, and final deliverables.
- Prioritize and validate day-to-day artifact deliverables with subject matter experts.
- Develop and maintain assessment phases in coordination with business stakeholders and teams.
- Deliver weekly project status reports to executive teams of project sponsors and clients, highlighting progress, key deliverables, challenges, and risks.
- Regularly update internal stakeholders regarding project sponsors, clients, and project status.
- Ensure timely delivery of all project contract deliverables meeting quality standards.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team, project team, and external vendors.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, adjusting priorities and delegating tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the IT team on application design, development, testing, installation, and support.
- Prepare and conduct formal training on various applications as needed.
- Manage project managers, coordinators, and virtual team members.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to promote managed security and consulting services.
- Organize and facilitate meetings for assigned business units.
- Coordinate with third parties for assessments and remediation.
- Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, clients, and sponsors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be willing to work the graveyard shift.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional project management experience.
- Bachelorโs degree in business administration, information technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
- Capacity to take ownership of company strategic plans and implement them across departments.
- Adaptability to thrive in a small, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail and excellent time management abilities.
