Our client, a US-based ecommerce company, is seeking a talented Creative Lead to join their team. As the Creative Lead, you will be responsible for leading the creative direction and strategy of the company's branding and marketing efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative campaigns that drive customer engagement and brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
Creative Director:
- Concept Development: Lead the development of creative concepts and strategies that align with client objectives, target audience preferences, and brand identity.
- Lead and manage the creative team to produce high-quality and visually appealing designs across various platforms and channels.
- Creative Direction: Provide artistic direction and guidance to the creative team, including designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists, to ensure the development of high-quality and impactful creative assets.
- Campaign Ideation: Collaborate with clients, account managers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm and conceptualize advertising campaigns, marketing initiatives, and brand activations. Develop and execute creative campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives.
- Visual Branding: Oversee the development of visual branding elements, including logos, graphics, imagery, and multimedia content, to maintain brand consistency and enhance brand recognition.
- Copywriting and Messaging: Review and approve copywriting and messaging for advertisements, marketing materials, and digital content to ensure alignment with brand voice, tone, and messaging strategy.
- Creative Production: Manage the production process for creative assets, including print materials, digital ads, videos, and multimedia content, from concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Client Presentations: Present creative concepts, proposals, and campaign strategies to clients and stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions and addressing feedback and revisions as needed.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and creative direction to the creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity, growth, and professional development.
- Market Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices to inform creative strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of creative campaigns and initiatives through performance metrics, feedback, and client satisfaction surveys, and use insights to refine future creative strategies and executions.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to develop compelling and engaging visual assets for digital marketing, social media, and website.
Media Buying
- Managing media buying and interpreting date to develop creative direction.
- The media buyer should be able to go into Facebook ad account, see which ads are performing in terms of hook rate, hold rates, ROAS, CAC and make creative decisions to improve results based on data from winning ads and losing ads.
- Manage paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and performance optimization to drive traffic and conversions.
- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, leveraging audience targeting, ad formats, and campaign objectives to drive sales and engagement.
- Implement display advertising campaigns through programmatic ad platforms, ad networks, and retargeting strategies to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and retarget site visitors with relevant product offerings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a creative role, preferably in an ecommerce or retail environment.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a creative team.
- Deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, including digital marketing channels, online sales funnels, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring campaign success.
- Proven track record of planning, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns across multiple channels, including paid search, social media, display advertising, and programmatic.
- Proficiency in managing advertising campaigns on major digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, Meta, Tiktok, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your creative work across various platforms and mediums.
- Understanding of branding principles and ability to develop and maintain brand guidelines.
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
