We're looking for an Event Marketing Manager, reporting into the Director of Field [Marketing?] and Corporate Events, who will be responsible for bringing our brand to life and engaging our community through bespoke events and conference sponsorships. We're looking for someone to help take our current events strategy and scale it up to a high volume. You'll have the opportunity to plan and manage 1Password hosted events, industry trade show sponsorships, and partner co-marketing events. You should be detail-oriented, able to plan events from start to finish, and manage their execution to achieve real results. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for security, thinks creatively, and isn't afraid to push boundaries.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
\n- 5+ years of event marketing experience. B2B SaaS industry experience preferred.
- Experience in cybersecurity and working with Security and IT personas preferred.
- Expertise in planning and managing sponsorships at large-scale events and trade shows.
- Ability to manage budgets and work with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing various types of events on firm deadlines.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, revenue operations, and sales and GTM leadership
- A growth mindset and willingness to try new things.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel for events.
- Plan and execute event marketing programs that drive both awareness and pipeline. Maintain project timelines and track deliverables within our project management tools to ensure on-time and replicable execution.
- Manage event logistics, including proper staffing, travel, booth presence, on-site experiences, coordination of external vendors, delivery of sponsorship benefits, post-event learnings and reporting, and recommendations for improvement.
- Organize trade show sponsorships to maximize brand exposure, engagement with target buyers, lead acquisition, and event-sourced pipeline generation.
- Be responsible for end to end execution of our presence at industry events to showcase our products and connect with decision-makers.
- Partner with GTM sales and customer success leadership to design, plan, and execute 1Password-hosted executive field events.
- Ensure leads generated by events are properly moved through the lead flow process and followed up on within the agreed upon timelines between Sales and Marketing.
- Track event performance and use data to guide event program optimizations.
- Communicate event updates to key stakeholders in a timely manner and host planning sessions to keep activities on track.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table and always look for ways to improve.
USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $99,000 USD and $135,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $94,000 CAD and $128,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Passwordโs generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
