Reporting to our VP of Customer Success & Account Management, the Head of Account Management (AM) will be responsible for over 60% of our total revenue growth ($50M+). In this role, you will be developing the sales strategy for the Account Management team, growing sales pipeline generation, and providing leadership and direction to a team of AM leaders and team members.
\n- 10+ years of experience in a sales/account management role in a technology/SaaS environment with 5-10 years managing people, including first and second line managers.
- Experience working in a mix of SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise and leading teams of all segments.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets and objectives personally and as a leader.
- Experience with account planning, account based selling and a top down sales motion.
- Demonstrated ability to influence an organization through proactive leadership, knowledge, creativity, hard work, and executive presence.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong business partnerships both with customers, and within the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in using data and analytics to understand sales pipeline, renewal management, and overall impact of the team's efforts and use insights to make data driven decisions.
- Excellent strategic planning skills with proven experience with measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying potential risks and roadblocks, and creatively contributing solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively deliver executive level presentations and influence stakeholders of various levels.
- Reporting directly to our VP of Customer Success & Account Management, and responsible for >$50M in ARR growth.
- Develop, execute, and manage the sales strategy for Account Management focused on accelerating revenue growth to consistently deliver and overachieve against targets throughout the year, aligning it with our go-to-market approach.
- Grow sales pipeline generation by accelerating active opportunities and implementing industry leading practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to proactively address potential challenges and opportunities.
- Manage a complex and varied sales environment utilizing excellent negotiation, relationship-building and presentation skills.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make strategic decisions.
- Negotiate high level deals while bringing a strategic and consultative approach when selling to our customers.
- Manage the Account Management org, providing direction, support, and resources they need to perform and grow. Is responsible for the development, engagement, and performance of the Account Management team.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, RevOps, Customer Success, Product and Legal to deliver a seamless customer experience.
USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $196,000 USD and $265,000 USD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $187,000 CAD and $253,000 CAD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
