Role Overview: Legal Data & Automation Specialist
This role focuses on optimizing document management, automating workflows, and ensuring the accuracy of client records within the firm’s database. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to streamline legal processes through automation and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automations & Reporting – Develop and maintain reports to track case progress and documentation status.
- Database Management – Organize, digitize, and maintain legal documents, ensuring accuracy in client records.
- Workflow Optimization – Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for improved efficiency in legal processes.
- Tracker Development – Build and manage tracking systems to monitor case files and key legal documentation.
- Data Accuracy – Verify and update client records, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Technology & Communication Integration – Assist in migrating communication and document-sharing processes to Slack.
- Attorney Support – Retrieve, format, and manage client information for legal teams.
Immediate Priorities (Week 1):
- Gain proficiency in the firm’s database and document management tools.
- Organize and digitize backlogged case files for accurate data entry.
- Collaborate with the legal team to understand documentation requirements and workflow processes.
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, preferably in a legal or administrative setting.
- Proficiency with data management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CRMs).
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information securely.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with legal terminology or experience working in a law firm.
- Knowledge of case management systems like Clio or similar platforms.
