The Team

This frontend engineer role will work in our Customer Experience team, which is responsible for providing the customers of the tour and activity operators who use the Peek Pro platform with a consistently positive, memorable, and stress-free experience throughout the customer lifecycle.

Our engineering group works on the customer-facing products and systems that enable making and managing bookings for rental and activity operators online, which feed into our Peek Pro operations management suite. These products drive business for our operators and we A/B test changes we make to ensure we are optimizing for conversion and the customer experience. Projects include embeddable booking widgets, online waivers, and a customizable portal where customers can get details about their upcoming booking. The group works collaboratively, moves fast, and values technical quality.

Your Role

You are a frontend engineer with a special place in your heart for Ember.js. You love working with designers, other frontend engineers, and backend experts to solve complex problems deeply and thoroughly. You are data-driven; you seek to understand how the features you build are making an impact in the real world, and you enjoy diving into product analytics tools like Mixpanel.

  • Scrappy, self-motivated, and enjoy moving quickly to develop solutions in complex systems to solve customer painpoints.

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills. You will collaborate to solve problems. We value team success over individual achievement. We love working with people who can ask hard questions, offer unusual solutions, and are willing to compromise when solving challenging problems on a deadline.

  • Take ownership of projects from development through release to production.

  • Deliver production-quality code with comprehensive automated test coverage.

  • Advocate for a consistent and delightful customer experience.

  • Act as a mentor to fellow software engineers through code reviews, design document critiques, and brainstorms throughout the software development process.
