Strategy & Analytics Analyst

WHO YOU ARE:
In this highly visible cross functional role you will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness and/or efficiency of strategic initiatives across risk/fraud, marketing (50%), product and operations along with developing and tracking key operating metrics.
You will play a key role in influencing decision making and will find opportunities to improve strategies across the PEX organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compile and mine data from multiple sources involving large data sets that are structured and unstructured
- Develop complex data query programming to extract data needed for reporting, analysis, and modeling
- Lead marketing analytics projects to strategize, measure and optimize the effectiveness of funnel and lifecycle campaigns and targeting strategies. Develop test design and campaign selection criteria, pulling lists and applying finance/risk suppressions as required.
- Develop and track key marketing metrics to inform decision-making and demonstrate ROI. Create and maintain reporting dashboards tied to marketing campaign activities.
- Collaborate with other departments including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance to optimize efficiency and product offerings
- Performs detailed analysis and interprets information to make recommendations to the line of business
- Creates reporting for high risk segments and designs early warning triggers based on reporting insights and performance
- Assists with developing and enhancing credit risk assessment capabilities to maintain healthy relationships with clients (balancing risk/reward)
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience in querying tools, such as SQL, SAS, R, Python
- 1+ years in fintech/financial services
- Experience with PowerBI, Hubspot, SalesForce or other major CRM tool is required
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Team player
- Ability to communicate well and independently manage projects
