RCM/Billing Education and Training Specialist

As the fastest growing company in the therapy EMR space and the new standard in healthcare technology, we’re looking to bring on a RCM/Billing Education and Training Specialist, to assist the Educational Content team in video and written billing and RCM training content as we take our learning platforms to the next level.
You’ll need to be highly organized and passionate about details, but also scrappy and determined to get the job done by the deadline. You should be a clear communicator, open to feedback, happy to share ideas and help problem solve. You should also be someone who is enthusiastic about learning something new every day, who loves to take initiative, take ownership, and grow into new responsibilities frequently, in order to do what it takes to ensure our department makes a huge contribution to the Prompt team.

The Role:
Our expectation of the role is that you will become an expert on the Prompt platform in order to produce dynamic training and guidance tools to both internal team members and external customers who use Prompt. You will assist in expanding our Prompt University video courses and Help Center Knowledge Base material to ensure all Prompt users learn everything they need to be successful. A great sense of humor is a must on this team! You will assist in product analytics as a minor part of the job to create targeted in-app guides to help customers understand how our product is used, and make certain they use it to its full potential. You’ll also use these feedback tools to help guide the team with knowing where to take it next!
Key Responsibilities:
Own the creation of video training courses, lessons and associated written materials for:
Prompt U Beginner Billing Course - update and maintain video course to train knowledgeable RCM professionals switching to Prompt on how to bill on the Prompt Platform and guide them through their onboarding through their first days/weeks/months live on the platform
Prompt U Advanced Billing Course - update and maintain video course to train knowledgeable RCM professionals who already use the Prompt platform on how to take their skills to the next level with advanced functions, integrations, and most importantly reporting capabilities to run the most efficient RCM office possible!
Prompt U Billing 101 - teach non-billers the ins and outs of PT billing in the context of the Prompt platform
Prompt U Release Videos and Maintenance - incorporate ongoing new features into Beginner, Advanced, and 101 training videos as needed and perform ongoing maintenance of these educational resources
Assist the Educational Content team in creating both video and written content for Prompt University video courses and knowledge base articles
Research and test new Prompt features, consulting with engineering/product teams to address any blockers or increase understanding of features as needed
Stage and set up scenarios within the Prompt software for specific demonstration purposes in video lessons, specifically related to billing features and content
Develop basic scripts for lessons and/or edit scripts for content, accuracy, and engagement
Learn video software to be able to create entire videos from scratch and also assist with final editing on videos - animation behaviors, visual effects, transitions, annotations, closed captions, etc.
Upload videos into the LMS platform, adding relevant knowledge base articles where applicable
Enroll Prompt Users in relevant courses
Update and/or create knowledge base articles and review previously published articles regularly to ensure they are up to date
Assist the educational content team in creating in-app guides to increase awareness and correct use of the most impactful features of our product
Additional responsibilities may arise as new and different needs arise!
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings specifically related to billing features to effectively respond to incoming customer inquiries across our single-channel support system to stay informed of customer trends, FAQs, and response to training
Collaborate with team members and management in recommending and implementing improvement opportunities
Preferred Requirements:
In depth billing knowledge within Prompt EMR 🙂
Minimum Requirements:
Must have 2+ years experience billing in an outpatient therapy practice and/or in the EMR industry
Must have professional experience conducting large team training with RCM staff
Must have created and recorded training videos in the past
Must be highly proficient in both written and verbal communication skills
Very strong technical skills operating various software platforms
Understanding and learning software must be a passion of yours
Highly motivated to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment where you will need to work outside normal working hours at times
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, shift gears quickly, and meet deadlines while maintaining professional composure
Prepared to grow very quickly into your role and take on greater responsibilities as needed
Be comfortable owning your own workload
Proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, Slack
