Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented SeniorSoftware Engineer to join our (R&D -DevOpsTEAM).
As a Senior Software Engineer for DevOps Team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the DevOps approach within an organization. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality software products. You should know how to design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) of software. The primary goal is to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products.
\n- You should be able to Design, Develop, Test and Maintain CI/CD pipeline, and ability to maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) process using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible, Terraform etc.
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
- Automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and Infrastructure of applications on public cloud like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Should understand how to choose the best tools and technologies which best fits the business needs.
- Individual should be able to lead platform upgrade/migration independently.
- Stakeholder Management and mentoring junior software developers in gaining experience while assuming DevOps responsibilities.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, then utilize them to enhance the software infrastructure.
- BE/ME/MCA or any other degree in related field or equilivent.
- 6-9 years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Hands-On experience on various DevOps concepts and tools like Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/Nexus.
- Experiential learning on Infrastructure as Code tools (like Terraform, Ansible).
- Practical experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
- Hands-On experience on Container & Container Orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Shell Scripting and any other programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Implemented monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana for monitoring infrastructure.
- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy and Security domain.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
- This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings only occasionally based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
