About the Role
As an Account Executive II at PushPress, you will play a pivotal role in converting inbound leads into closed deals, working alongside our SDR and Marketing teams. You'll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle for inbound leads, conducting product demos, and also engaging in some outbound sales efforts to build your pipeline.
Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to build rapport with gym owners, fitness studio managers, and other key decision-makers within the fitness industry. You will leverage your deep understanding of the fitness space to effectively communicate how PushPress can help them streamline operations and grow their businesses.
\n- Inbound Deal Closure: Convert inbound leads (generated by the SDR/Marketing teams) into paying customers by managing the sales process, delivering demos, and negotiating contracts.
- Sales Demos: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations for prospects who have expressed interest via inbound channels. Tailor the demos to address the unique needs of fitness businesses and showcase how PushPress can help streamline operations and drive growth.
- Outbound Sales Generation: Supplement inbound efforts with strategic outbound sales activities to build your pipeline. Engage in cold outreach via calls, emails, and social media to target potential customers in the fitness industry who could benefit from PushPress.
- Relationship Building: Use your knowledge of the fitness industry to build strong, trusted relationships with prospects. Understand their unique challenges and goals to position PushPress as the best solution.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead qualification through contract negotiation, ensuring a seamless experience for the prospect.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the SDR team to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads and collaborate with the Marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Pipeline Management: Track your sales activity, manage your pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the fitness/gym industry is required (this could be through working in a gym, fitness studio, or health & wellness business), the ability to connect and communicate effectively with fitness professionals is essential.
- Sales Experience: At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales or SaaS, with a demonstrated ability to close inbound deals and conduct product demos.
- Proven Sales Track Record: A history of achieving sales quotas, closing deals, and generating new business opportunities.
- Resiliency: Ability to overcome setbacks, stay motivated during periods of low activity, and maintain a positive, results-driven mindset despite challenges. Resilience is key to succeeding in a competitive and fast-paced startup environment.
- Consultative Sales Skills: Experience in consultative selling and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs.
- CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools to track sales activity and manage pipelines.
- Passion for Fitness: A strong passion for fitness and wellness is key to understanding our customers and their business needs.
- Industry Network: A rolodex of contacts within the fitness and wellness industry (gym owners, fitness studio operators, personal trainers, etc.) is a significant plus.
