About the Role
As a leader within the Client Success (CS) organization, the Manager of Project Management (PM) is critical to driving client outcomes through people leadership. This person will lead a team of Project Managers who guide our clients and internal implementation teams using our best practices and PMI methodologies to deliver our industry-leading SaaS event marketing platform. The CS team and its leaders play a critical role in supporting the growth goals of RainFocus. Our team needs an energetic leader who is capable of driving structure, scalability, and quality into our client Project Management processes day in and day out. Your focus will be on continued development, strategic execution, and consistent evaluation of the team as to best support the PM team.

- Partner with Sales, Product, CS Leadership, and other teams as necessary to improve processes, best practices, and client experiences
- Balance priorities against company and department goals and initiatives
- Align with the RF FOCUS values in delivering strong leadership
- Action-oriented & accountable - willing to act promptly and in the best interest of both client and the company
- People
- Oversee a team of 7-10+ Project Managers
- Recruit and develop top-notch team members with a focus on employee retention
- Effectively manage the onboarding of new team members - play a key role in the process
- Foster a culture of accountability toward client outcomes
- Understanding of cross-functional responsibilities, processes, and best practices with continued focus on training, coaching, execution, and adoption
- Effectively manage the performance of all direct reports to align with company expectations (feedback, goals and career development, and/or workload management)Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and provide timely feedback on performance
- Client
- Ensure teams are delivering the best-in-class implementation and onsite experience for customers, with proper execution of best practices and processes
- Validate that the assigned direct reports are communicating clearly and proactively with clients
- Effectively manage client elevations and/or issues and risks as necessary
- Operations
- Understand the flow of incoming client project needs
- Collaborate with CS Workforce Manager role for staffing and assignments
- Monitor and report on team effectiveness, efficiency, and quality metrics, including implementation health, risk management, etc.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by sharing insights, trends, etc.
- 5-7+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of people leadership experience in relevant functional role(s)
- Experience leading enterprise-caliber implementation teams
- Experience within a rapidly growing implementation team
- Experience developing repeatable implementation processes and offerings
- Collaborative mindset, fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and clients to drive successful outcomes
- Demonstrated track record of creating efficiencies through process design, adoption, execution, and measurement
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to internal and external executives
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to provide strategic guidance to ensure solutions align with long-term business goals and industry best practices
- Adaptability to evolving industry / client needs and RainFocus growth goals
- Ability to demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges
- Experience in the Events space
- Project Management Acumen (PMP/PMI Certifications)
