About the Role
RainFocus is looking for a highly motivated and creative intern to work closely with the Marketing team to gain hands-on experience in a variety of projects. As the Brand and Communications Intern, you'll play a vital role in providing support in the delivery of high-quality, timely communications to help us tell a consistent story across owned and earned channels. Working with a diverse range of key stakeholders across brand, product, demand, operations, and more, you'll contribute to the success of various communications and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative and has a keen interest in all aspects of communications and marketing.
\n- Support PR strategies for key company announcements, including press release development
- Collaborate with PR agency on external media relations activities
- Assist with content creation for social media channels and ensure posts align with brand and voice
- Collaborate with the design team to create visual assets for marketing materials, presentations, and campaigns
- Craft compelling internal communications to share company news, events, and activities
- Drive external engagement, including monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for proactive communication
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files and documents.
- Support other marketing functions, including product, demand, operations, and more
- Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, public relations, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
- Excellent knowledge of Google suite of products
- Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
- Organized and efficient with a high attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- You have a knack for critical thinking and problem-solving.
- You are highly analytical and organized—from planning and setting deadlines, through to execution and lessons learned.
- You have good ideas, and you want to try them. You are not afraid to take chances and test new things, even if they fail.
- You have a passion for marketing and want to gain exposure to different areas within the discipline.
