We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Creative Manager team within the Advertiser Platform organization!

- Asset Management - Our primary mission is to help advertisers effectively manage their assets. We meticulously organize and maintain the digital materials essential for creating compelling ad creatives, ensuring that advertisers have quick and easy access to what they need when they need it.
- Performance Optimization - We are passionate about delivering performance to our customers. We collaborate closely with advertisers to develop high-performance creatives that engage audiences, increase click-through rates, and maximize return on investment. By continuously analyzing and optimizing creatives, we aim to achieve outstanding results.
- Innovation using AI - We embrace cutting-edge technology, including Generative AI, to push creative boundaries. Our team is at the forefront of using AI-driven tools to assist advertisers in generating innovative and impactful ad creatives that capture attention and inspire action.
- Product First - Our team is a full stack team of frontend and backend engineers to build a robust creative management product for our customers.

Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the backend infrastructure for efficient asset management, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Scalability: Architect and implement scalable solutions that can handle the growing volume of creative assets and data as the team and client base expand.
- Integration: Collaborate with other teams and third-party services to seamlessly integrate the asset management system with other tools and platforms used by advertisers.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure smooth and high-speed access to creative assets.
- Data Management: Oversee data storage, retrieval, and indexing strategies to ensure fast and reliable access to creative materials, while maintaining data consistency.
- Security: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive advertiser assets, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards. Make sure data is shareable securely between different accounts of the advertisers.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated processes for asset management, reducing manual effort and streamlining workflows for the creative team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, AI engineers, and infra teams to ensure seamless communication and integration between the backend and other components of the creative management product.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers on the team, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions that align with the team's goals and contribute to the overall success of advertising campaigns.
The Staff Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness, scalability, and performance of the backend system, enabling the Creative Management Team to deliver outstanding support and services to advertisers.
Who You Might Be
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Technical leader in the execution of large scale projects from 0 to 1.
- Experience partnering with product managers and designers to build new user-facing products
- Experience in solving complex system scaling and latency performance problems
- Excellent communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a remote environment, and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Extensive software development experience in one or more general purpose languages: Python, Golang, Rust, Java, C++
- Experience with media storage systems will be a huge plus
