The position
As QA Engineer, you will be working directly with other QA Engineers in challenging implementations to support the whole company by creating tests for Cypress in JavaScript and our Elixir backend as well as closely together with multiple teams to assist them in testing and improving their quality processes. You'll be coached by more senior QA Engineers and Developers in best practices on automation for our front-end and back-end solutions, assist with CI improvements, and help enforce a quality mindset throughout the company.
You'll be joining 250 engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE and QA. We're organised into cross-functional development teams assigned to specific product areas. Regardless of the specific team you will be joining, you will be working on building features, tools, APIs and integrations for one of our products.
Our backend is built with Elixir and Phoenix, with a Postgres database. We use React and Nextjs for our frontend. Gitlab is used as a version control tool and a CI/CD solution. Our applications are hosted on AWS. We fully rely on our CI for deployments and deploy multiple times per day.
We write tests in Cypress, and we use Gitlab for Continuous Integration and Delivery. Together with your team members you will ensure that engineers have the right tools and processes to deliver world-class quality products.
