The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Talent Sourcer (fixed term contract), joining our People team.

Requirements

  • Proven success in sourcing across all business areas, including G&A, Operations, Sales & Marketing
  • Extensive experience in inbound and outbound sourcing, with a key focus on sourcing passive candidates
  • Experienced in outbound sourcing at all levels, preferably in a global capacity within the tech industry
  • Experience in sourcing for senior and executive level roles
  • Genuine interest and passion about an inclusive hiring process
  • Ability to adapt quickly to various tools and internal business practices that enable us to scale fast
  • Previous experience in various applicant tracking systems. Greenhouse will be ideal, but not required
  • Experience in a fast growing tech start-up will be ideal
  • Experience in various social media and other platforms to attract and engage with talent
  • Close alignment to our company values
  • Writes and speaks fluent English
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus

Key responsibilities

  • Work highly effectively to ensure Remote’s talent scaling needs are matched, and in particular support Sales & Marketing, Operations and G&A departments hiring needs for 6 months according to Remote’s 2024 hiring plan
  • Develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, perform applicants review and shortlisting
  • Along with the Talent Acquisition team, proactively coordinate with Hiring Managers to determine position requirements
  • Partner with a TA Manager, and other members of the Hiring team on developing the sourcing strategy
  • Act as a mentor and a subject matter expert for other members of the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring leaders and advise on the best ways of finding and attracting talent
  • Contribute to Remote's diversity by intentionally sourcing for under-represented talent
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
  • Apply creative out-of-the-box sourcing strategies for complex and niche roles
  • Implement and track conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired to predict and plan an effective sourcing strategy and monitor success
  • Promote new positions internally and engage current employees to refer talent
  • Promote our employer brand on and offline
  • Contribute to the development of Recruiting, Sourcing, and Recruiting Excellence functions, as well as broader People team
  • Proactively run talent sourcing events and other innovative sourcing initiatives
  • Proactively participate in various talent sourcing virtual events to remain at the forefront of sourcing technology, tools, and innovative sourcing ideas

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote's Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and fair equity pay along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate. We do not agree to or encourage cheap-labor practices and therefore we ensure to pay above in-location rates. We hope to inspire other companies to support global talent-hiring and bring local wealth to developing countries.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is USD 27,700 - USD 77,850. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
