Position Overview:
Our partner is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company focused on helping major e-commerce businesses optimize their growth potential. Their cutting-edge platform leverages advanced machine learning and data analytics to deliver speed and actionable insights that directly drive customer conversions and revenue growth for over a hundred brands, including Cozy Earth, Nood, and Glamnetic.
As a Web Developer, your primary responsibilities will be to onboard new their customers, adapt their system to their customers’ changing eCommerce sites, troubleshoot issues, and recommend performance optimizations as a member of their Customer Success Team. They sits as a first-party proxy in front of their customers’ Shopify or Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce stores.
Your role allows them to onboard customers in less than a day with no code changes on their side. Join their successful, growing team and become an expert in both the Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystems while gaining invaluable knowledge of over 8,000 Shopify apps and Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s partner app ecosystem.
\n- Onboarding customers using tools such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Analyzing eCommerce sites for performance optimizations utilizing Google Lighthouse, WebPageTest, GTmetrix, and other standard web performance tools.
- Documenting customer-specific performance optimization recommendations that are outside of the scope of their core products.
- Identifying functionally impacting changes in Customers’ ecommerce sites as new versions of their sites are released and adapting the product's integration to accommodate the changes.
- Detecting the root causes of issues, web components, JS, and executing solutions aligned with the latest version build.
- Creating reusable implementation templates across customers.
- Working with Product Engineering to diagnose and fix issues that arise in the core product.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Extremely comfortable traversing the DOM
- Experience with eCommerce, required
- 3+ years expert-level experience in website performance and optimizations, including Core Web Vitals
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, both internally and with customers
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking and creative analysis skills
