The Senior Data Scientist at Resilinc is a pivotal role that will build our data science team from the ground up. The ideal candidate is not only adept at developing scalable, innovative algorithms using machine learning techniques but also brings a strong analytical mindset to tackle complex challenges. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and innovative thinking to leverage data effectively for strategic decision-making.
- Act as an integral member of the Data Science team within Resilinc.
- Conduct literature reviews, select and adapt suitable methods/algorithms for specific problems, and innovate as necessary - encompassing research, design, development, and algorithm testing.
- Being a hands-on contributor for developing SaaS products is a key responsibility in this role.
- Take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion thoroughly and efficiently, in a timely manner.
- Lead project initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring thoroughness and efficiency while adhering to timelines.
- Collaborate proactively with stakeholders across the company.
- Articulate and present analytical findings and progress to cross-functional teams within Resilinc.
- A BE, MS or PhD in Operations Research, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience for BS holders or 2+ years for MSc holders.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of complex algorithms.
- Experience in building algorithms for Software products.
- A comprehensive understanding of various Machine Learning techniques including but not limited to Linear & Non-linear models, Tree-based algorithms, Neural Networks, Classification, Clustering, Regression, Feature Engineering, Feature Selection, PCA, SVD, k-NN etc.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a solid grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and development methodologies.
- Background in the Supply Chain industry.
- Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks, especially Apache Spark.
- Experience in developing Generative AI models in secure, isolated environments.
- Knowledge of graph theory, graph algorithms, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), and experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
- Experience applying NLP techniques to challenges such as data normalization and other complex text-related problems.
- Demonstrable experience managing the full lifecycle of machine learning models, including deployment and monitoring on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
