The Manager, Information Technology at Restaurant365 is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the IT department's day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and a team of dedicated IT professionals. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the organization's technology infrastructure is robust, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

How you'll add value:
  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including creating project plans, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of IT staff, including technicians, administrators, and support personnel. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide support to end-users. This may involve hardware and software troubleshooting, network support, and system maintenance.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that vendor services and products meet the organization's needs and standards.
  • Participate in budget planning and management for the IT department. Monitor expenses and help ensure that IT projects and operations stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security, compliance, and efficient IT operations.
  • Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect the organization's data and systems. This includes managing user access, implementing cybersecurity best practices, and staying up to date with security threats.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and software that can enhance the organization's IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures, making sure they are up-to-date and accessible to the IT team.
  • Lead the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization can recover from IT-related emergencies.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new technologies and systems, helping them understand and utilize IT resources effectively.
  • Ensure that IT operations comply with relevant industry regulations, data protection laws, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and align IT strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports on IT department performance, project status, and key metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT management.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform hardware, software, and network improvements, upgrades, configuration changes.
  • Purchase and maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software.
  • Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, physical and logical network diagrams, policies, procedures, user guides.
  • Conduct internal audits of network/system/workstation integrity, reliability, and security.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What you'll need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or an equally relevant field, or an equivalent combination of higher education and relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT teams.
  • Strong project management and business-process management skills.
  • End-user-facing technical support experience.
  • Operation and troubleshooting expertise of Windows, macOS devices, iPads, and A/V equipment.
  • Wireless, wired, and VPN network and equipment experience.
  • Expertise with enterprise security policies, access controls, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft 365 Admin centers including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, Azure Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Security & Compliance.
  • Strong proficiency with Azure Active Directory, SSO integrations, and experience administering Fresh Service, Slack, Atlassian, and Torii are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Helpdesk systems configuration and functionality.
  • Proficiency with MDM technologies such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
  • Strong sense of discretion related to data privacy and user privacy.
  • Experience with departmental forecasting and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Occasional travel may be required.


R365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation
  • This position has a salary range of $115K-$150. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
