Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Requirements
- Work closely with customers to understand goals, challenges, and requirements.
- Conduct business and technical analysis to configure or develop solutions on the Oracle Field Service Cloud platform.
- Solution Design & Delivery
- Propose innovative configurations and technical architectures using Oracle methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Provide high-quality solution leadership on OFSC engagements by translating functional requirements into technical deliverables.
- Project Oversight & Quality Assurance
- Advise the Project Manager and stakeholders on implementation aspects, ensuring adherence to standard practices.
- Manage overall project delivery quality, ensuring timely resolution of issues and alignment with client expectations.
- Configuration & Customization
- Configure core OFSC modules, including Manager, Collaboration, Routing, Forecasting & Quota Management, and Mobility Services.
- Develop custom forms and plugins to meet complex business requirements.
- Integrate OFSC with other Oracle solutions (e.g., OIC) and web technologies for a seamless user experience.
- Documentation & Testing
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation detailing delivered solutions, integrations, and migration strategies.
- Coordinate testing phases to validate solution integrity and optimize performance.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with diverse teams to optimize field service workflows.
- Provide thought leadership and in-depth consulting to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Field Service Cloud implementation, consultation, and production support
- Proven experience in core implementation, business architecture, and technical architecture evaluation
- Strong background playing a client-facing role as a Technology Architect / Lead Consultant
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant, hands-on OFSC expertise, plus exposure to Salesforce Field Service Lightning
- Professional experience with Oracle Field Service Cloud modules, from scheduling/dispatching to customer sign-off
- In-depth knowledge of REST and SOAP-based APIs
- Proficiency in technical design and architecture for OIC-based integrations
- Experience in end-to-end OFS cycles, including manager and mobility services configuration
Preferred Skills
- Strong Oracle development skills (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Hands-on application support experience, managing sustainment and project activities
