About the team + role
As External Reporting Financial Analyst, you will partner with cross-functional teams in advising senior leadership through our quarterly earnings process, and work closely with the business in ideating and driving compelling business insights for senior leaders and Board of Directors
It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you’ll do
- Partner with Investor Relations team on earnings
- Developing a meticulous and detailed understanding of both our long term strategy as well as our core product and financial metrics
- Collaborate with key partners from across the company and provide crucial insights to senior management on the company’s financial health, as well as potential risks and opportunities
- Synthesizing / distilling key financial and business insights for leadership - analyzing results, business KPIs, assessing risk, and communicating timely risks & opportunities
- Understanding the company’s external reporting and assessing what investors, competitors, and others can imply about Robinhood
- Gathering supportive analytics and KPIs to management / senior leaders to sharpen their external communications
- Being a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support the next wave of Robinhood’s growth
- Designing and building the financial infrastructure to automate and support our business, operations, and external reporting processes
What you bring
- Ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written comms, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
- Excellent analytical skills and the business judgment to balance the details while not losing sight of the big picture
- High proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion.
- A positive attitude. This means a desire to work hard, be creative, stay curious, and maintain a can-do approach.
- Experience in fintech products is a plus but is not required
