Description
The client is looking to hire a Data Science Associate who will work closely with the performance marketing team to develop holistic analyses that help to drive business results and support key business goals. Responsibilities include building and updating dashboards, post-campaign analysis and reconciliation, stewardship, and general maintenance of digital media advertising campaigns. This position holds significant strategic value to their teams and clients and requires not only a quantitative data analysis skill set but also strong communication skills. Hands-on experience with enterprise web analytics suites, such as Adobe or Google Analytics, and the corresponding tools and skills for further data analysis, testing, and proper measurement will be at the core of this role.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality assurance and analysis of data from different digital sources, creation and maintenance of dashboards, lead post-campaign decks using historical performance at different granularities, industry benchmarks, internal/external research, and developing learning agendas around findings and optimizations.
- Enhance and improve formal frameworks and methods to address client and industry strategies including the integration of digital media and customer analytics to increase performance.
- Disseminate information to media, account, and creative departments and ultimately the client regarding performance and KPIs, as well as prompt and accurate responses to ad-hoc client/internal team requests.
- Provide general daily stewardship of healthy performance across all interactive advertising campaigns.
- Develop statistical and ML models to evaluate and guide performance to make predictions.
- Support tracking and trafficking across the different accounts; create and keep updated a matrix with the detailed events for each account.
- Dynamic tag manager or google tag manager.
- Identify new trends, technologies, and solutions in the marketplace and within the client around digital marketing and develop business plans to address industry needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with the following technologies and software: Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI, BigQuery, Python, and similar.
- Expertise with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar web analytics tools (variables, events, segments, dimensions, custom queries, etc.), and tag management tools (e.g. GTM, DTM, etc.).
- At least 2 years of experience as a data analyst/data scientist and understanding of digital advertising metrics, multi-touch attribution analysis, clustering and other statistical modeling, A/B testing, text mining, as well as the ability to tell a meaningful story using data.
- Experience with direct client communication or contact, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage relationships and address client needs in a professional manner. College Diploma or Bachelorโs Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Commerce or similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Must be Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent written, and verbal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to drive projects and be detail-oriented, collaborate with different teams, set goals, meet deadlines, and time management skills (proven ability to prioritize and organize workload).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hunger and curiosity to learn new marketing technologies, trends, and business models.
