About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Compliance Manager to be a critical member of a growing Legal and Compliance team at Rula Health. The Senior Compliance Manager will report to Rula’s Compliance Officer and work closely with other members of the Legal and Compliance team as well as many internal stakeholders throughout the organization.  The Senior Compliance Manager will help ensure Rula’s Compliance Program is being carried out effectively by addressing Compliance-related questions from various sources (internal stakeholders, providers, patients, etc.), conducting compliance investigations, leading HIPAA incident investigations, ensuring various registrations and filings are maintained, providing regulatory compliance guidance to the business, and participating in regulatory and/or payor audits. This person will apply their knowledge of healthcare compliance, attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong ability to communicate with the goal of making mental healthcare work for everyone.  

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8+ years in a Compliance Role

  • Healthcare regulatory experience 

  • Strong communication skills that can clearly explain compliance concepts to internal stakeholders

  • Experience collaborating with other stakeholders on Compliance concerns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Behavioral Health Compliance experience

  • Telehealth Experience

  • Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and/or Medicaid 

  • Privacy Experience 

  • Policy Development Experience
