About The Role
Our Cybersecurity team is responsible for ensuring the security of cloud-native tools and services for Second Front business and product teams, with an emphasis on automation and customer experience.As a Sr DevSecOps Engineer at Second Front Systems you will design, build, and integrate security tools to enable vulnerability detection, mitigation, monitoring, and response. You will work to automate processes and design and adapt IaC with Pulumi in Golang. This role will require learning new things like developing security tools, assessing risk, solving big problems, speaking your mind, and contributing to a culture of diversity, innovation, and excellence. This role is key to the security of the Game Warden platform and its underlying applications.
\n- Coordinate activities with Principal Security Engineer and DevSecOps Engineering Team
- Design, manage, and update IaC with Pulumi in golang
- Design, build, and implement microservices in golang
- Maintain and adapt SIEM and Security Tooling
- Document applications and process you create
- Able to be a positive influence on the company
- Comfortable working on complex problems, striving to find unique solutions to problems
- Able to work with minimal supervision and guidance under tight deadlines
- Self-starter that can persevere until the job is done
- Experienced in working in Agile development structures
- Experience solving complex and sometimes ill-defined problems
- Extensive knowledge of DevSecOps tools and software development
- Ability to create and implement incident response plans
- Kubernetes knowledge and understanding of networking
- Background in cybersecurity and understanding of vulnerability risk analysis
- Knowledge of AWS and/or Google cloud services
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to attain 8570 baseline IAT 2 Certification within 3 months of hire date
- Experience with Department of Defense DevSecOps practices, policies, and security
- Experience with Docker, Gitlab, Kubernetes
- Golang
- Rust, or the willingness to learn Rust
- Data Engineering or Science Experience a plus
