The role
As an Associate Site Reliability Engineer, you will focus on maintaining and optimizing cloud application infrastructure under senior engineers' guidance. You'll work closely with senior team members to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of deployment environments for application teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering teams in Poland and the US, assisting them in implementing SRE best practices in their daily operations and optimizing code with infrastructure considerations in mind.

What you'll be doing
Maintaining reliable and up-to-date infrastructure: automating infrastructure changes through scripting, ensuring critical parts of the infrastructure are monitored, and setting up alerts.
Solving basic to intermediate infrastructure problems with the assistance of other team members.
Contributing to continuously improving SRE processes and practices by offering ideas and feedback to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Assisting in responding to incidents and outages, diagnosing problems, and working towards quick resolutions to minimize downtime.

Basic proficiency in scripting, with a preference for Bash, though Python or PowerShell experience would also be suitable.
Familiarity with log platforms like CloudWatch or New Relic, and understanding how to monitor system health.
Comfort using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CDK to manage and automate deployments.
Some hands-on experience in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines to streamline code releases.
Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS, but GCP or Azure experience is also acceptable.
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, which will help work with containerized applications.
