We are seeking multiple Audit Consultants to support our program with the Small Business Administration. This position is contingent on contract award and if awarded, the consultants will support the program remotely. The ideal candidates have experience in OMB’s A-123 requirements to evaluate internal controls for operational and financial programs. In this role you will provide expertise in oversight program areas such as data and analytics, internal controls, audit and evaluation techniques, application, and evaluation of program regulations for federal loan and grant programs, communications, information technology, banking operations, enterprise risk management and other relevant areas.
Candidates must be able to successfully complete a federal background check to support the SBA, and as such there is a requirement for US Citizenship.
\n- Bachelors Degree in related discipline
- US Citizenship, in addition to ability and willingness to complete a federal background investigation
- 3+ years professional experience in Audit
- Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing OMB’s A-123 requirements to assess internal controls for operational and financial related programs.
- Experience with identifying risks and mitigating controls and document in a risk/control matrix.
- Ability to assess the design and effectiveness of key internal controls and document the testing results.
At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
