We are seeking a Project Manager who will work alongside our creative and development teams. The Project Manager is a client-facing position responsible for the success of SmartBug’s website projects. The PM works with other PMs, designers, UX specialists, developers, QA specialists, and marketing consultants to ensure the delivery of high-end websites to our clients, which are most commonly delivered on HubSpot and WordPress CMS platforms. Projects may also be built on or integrated with content management and marketing automation platforms such as Shopify, Marketo, Pardot, or others.
The Project Manager is the project driver—ensuring that project timelines and milestones are met, and are regularly communicated to clients. As the client’s go-to resource at SmartBug, your strong focus on outstanding client management skills will enable you to provide a successful client experience and substantial value in leading your clients’ projects.

\n- Be the main point of contact for the execution of the mandate
- Manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction
- Act as an expert advisor to customers (recommendations), in conjunction with the account manager
- Analyze and apply a problem-solving approach to various issues
- Ensure proactivity by improving mandates whenever possible; Co-produce project documents and ensure they are updated as necessary (e.g. work plan, schedules, team briefs)
- Respect the scope of the project and identify its risks in order to propose solutions that ensure its proper maintenance
- Ensure efficient, proactive day-to-day production with the various work teams
- Provide day-to-day support to the team by coordinating design, front-end programming, back-end programming, SEO and hosting activities
- Keep the team motivated
- Be responsible for quality control of mandates
- Participate in continuous improvement of work methods and project reviews
- Keep abreast of the latest Web trends by constantly updating your knowledge
- Degree in a discipline relevant to the position
- 3 to 5 years' experience in project management
- 1 to 3 years digital experience
- Significant experience in customer relations
- Experience in analyzing business needs in order to propose effective digital solutions to customers
- Good knowledge of quality assurance processes
