Medical Billing Specialist - ARWork from home until further noticeMonday to Friday | 9 PM to 6 AM
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prompt response to requests for information, both internally and externallyTimely and accurately enter charges from superbills and demographic reports.Expert ability to add specific data such as modifiers and payer-specific information, including authorization criteria, CPT and ICD-9 and ICD-10Responsible for the processing and discrepancy reconciliation and closing of charge batches across all systemsAbility to successfully track and follow up on information requests to and from the practice.Achieve goals set forth by the supervisor regarding error-free work, transactions, processes, and compliance requirementsPayment postingPatient phone callsProcessing of claimsOther duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3-5 years of experience working in a medical provider or a billing firm environment in the US Healthcare IndustryExperience with ARAptitude to learn quicklyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and well with others
