The SPLC is seeking an innovative Deputy Director of Digital Fundraising who is passionate about social justice!
The Deputy Director, Digital Fundraising & Advertising works closely with the Director of Marketing to expand the SPLCβs digital fundraising program, foster cross-channel collaboration, and ensure the success of key digital marketing initiatives. This position manages the day-to-day work of the digital fundraising team, directs agency partners, and leverages innovative digital platforms to drive fundraising success.

What You'll Do
Oversee the annual digital fundraising budget including setting revenue targets and expenses for all digital channels.
Design and lead innovative digital marketing and fundraising strategies that grow our email and SMS list, increase supporter acquisition, drive monthly donor growth and boost retention.
Develop and manage the advocacy email program, ensuring it mobilizes community members and supporters, drives impact and achieves fundraising outcomes.
Oversee a rapid response digital fundraising program that allows SPLC to quickly respond to breaking news and urgent moments to raise funds and engage supporters.
Manage a team and provide mentoring and coaching to support the work; hire, train, and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign duties, and conduct performance reviews.
Analyze digital marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and optimizing strategies to improve performance across channels.
Develop and manage the implementation of a robust digital testing plan; create and execute testing strategies across email and SMS campaigns, donation forms, digital ads, and landing pages to optimize performance, ensure continuous growth, and improve user experience through data-driven insights.
Partner with the director of marketing to craft integrated marketing strategies and ensure the effective execution of campaigns that align with the SPLC's mission and goals; collaborate with the director of development systems to enhance platform integrations, streamline workflows, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
Minimum Qualifications

- Minimum seven (7) years of experience designing and managing innovative digital fundraising strategies;
- Minimum five (5) years supervisory and vendor/agency management experience; and
- High School Diploma or GED.
Compensation & Benefits
This is an exempt role and the minimum starting salary is $148,500 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Where & How You'll Work
This role the following work designations options:
- Local Remote: Will work remotely, but is expected to attend work-related activities that occur at the SPLC offices or in the states in which the SPLC operates.
- Telework: Will work at an SPLC office at least three days per week and may work two days per week from an alternative work location.
- Distant Remote: Will work remotely and are not expected to work in the states in which the SPLC has an office or in an SPLC office. They may be required to attend occasional meetings or activities in the states in which the SPLC has an office or elsewhere.
- This position will report to the Director of Marketing.
