About the role
This role is a part of the internal full-cycle SplitMetrics Agency team and we are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and hungry for sales professional.
As a BDR, you will play a pivotal role in seeking out new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and developing relationships with potential customers. You'll work closely with our Sales team to optimize lead generation and a strategic sales approach.
In this role, you will:
- Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, networking, and independent research.
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.
- Set up and deliver outbound campaigns using sales enablement tools to drive top-of-the-funnel opportunities for the business.
- Conduct qualification/discovery calls with prospects to identify their pain points.
- Follow up on new prospects to identify new potential needs.
- Generate and manage the sales pipeline by updating all activity in Hubspot.
- Experiment with new and creative prospecting strategies.
- Write email sequences.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth client journey.
About You:
- Minimum 1 year of successful work experience in a BDR, SDR, or quota-carrying Sales role.
- Experience with outbound lead generation.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (cold calls, personalized LinkedIn messaging, etc.).
- Experience with prospecting tools & CRM.
- Experience in conducting calls with clients.
- Strong communication skills.
- Quick learner who can adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- Time management skills and the ability to work independently or under supervision.
- Hunger for feedback and coaching.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
