We are looking for an Engineering Manager to drive Advertising engineering leadership and practices. In this role, you will be instrumental in building the team and guiding development to successfully scale. You will help us build amazing native ad experiences for all our users!
\n- Develop a team of engineers at various career levels through coaching, mentoring, and management support
- Contribute code as necessary while strengthening the team
- Facilitate collaboration with other engineering teams, product managers, data scientists, user researchers and designers to take on exciting and challenging problems across our advertising platform
- Guide and support engineering technology architecture for product development
- Lead and Advocate for better development practices (CI, testing, operational efficiency, etc.)
- Work closely with the recruitment team to hire and onboard engineers
- You love developing and growing people and organizations and have a track record doing it
- You are knowledgeable and passionate about the software development lifecycle
- You are currently hands on code wise
- You are familiar with modern engineering practices such as distributed architecture, test-first, collective code ownership, etc. (coding patterns such as dependency injection, separation of concerns, state management are a bonus)
- You are experienced with leading, coaching, and mentoring individuals and teams

The United States base range for this position is $156,275 - $223,250, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
