Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We work to scale the user experience for hundreds of millions of fans and hundreds of thousands of advertisers. This scale brings unique challenges as well as tremendous opportunities for our artists and creators.
Spotify’s Ad business is growing! We're adding more advertisers than ever and big plans to transition our large direct ads customers over to Ad Studio. The Supply Controls team is at the crossroads of working with Content Creators, Advertisers, and Listeners. We work closely with Podcast Mission to create new ad segments, PlayX to ensure the listener experience is polished, and Ad Serving to ensure we get the expected ads.
We're looking for a backend engineer to join our team so we can unlock and polish supply in our existing offering. Our team owns both backend jobs and data pipelines, so we are looking for someone who’s not afraid to dip their toes into the data side as well! This is a brand new team where there will be a lot of opportunities to explore and try new things. This is a high impact opportunity where the work we are doing unlocks $$$ - which makes the impact narrative easy.
\n- Strong SE2 or Senior Engineer with experience working with Java

- Experience working with data jobs/pipelines. We own quite a few data pipelines and being able to contribute and work with those jobs is a big plus
