Spreetail is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for creating and owning the robust update processes for Spreetail’s cadenced reporting that are accurate, generate valuable and novel insights, are flexible and quick-to-build, and are collaboratively built across the Finance organization. The team ensures company projections are reasonable and aligned with strategy, along with being responsible for working with SG&A business partnership for planning and forecasting (this includes payroll and contract labor, employee expenses, tech expenses). \n- Support by executing robust update processes for cadenced reporting (Enterprise WBR, MBR, Quarterly Reforecast, AOP, Board of Director materials) ensuring actuals and forecast (if applicable) are updated and accurate.
- Support the enterprise consolidation of forecasts from all teams, and validate / sense-check those forecasts to ensure accuracy, reasonableness, and alignment with strategy.
- Support development of annual projections and routine forecasts throughout the year with a focus on repeatability and scalability.
- Support the creation of reporting packages that assimilate business insights and drivers from all functions to provide a cohesive story of corporate performance.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and efficiency of the reporting process, communicate challenges to manager that you encounter and ask questions often.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business related field.
- 1-3+ years’ experience in accounting/business/finance field preferred (may include experience acquired through internships).
- Exposure to methods of budgeting, forecasting and/or analyzing financial results preferred.
- Exposure to methods of building models and/or business cases preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to turn insight into action.
- Intermediate experience in Excel required.
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
