We are seeking a QA Automation engineer specialized in healthcare tech domain who can streamline the testing process through advanced tools, identify glitches, also customize tests for each project from the outset, significantly reducing the manual efforts. Somone who can work in fast paced environment, with efficient testing, product releases, update existing software swiftly, and aligns with clients demands.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications or systems.
- Test Execution: Perform various types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing to identify defects or issues in the software.
- Defect Management: Track and report defects found during testing, work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and verify fixes.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts using relevant tools or frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and identifying when which type of QA is needed, how to create reports, how to communicate, how to set up QA tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 6+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing
- Testing Experience: Prior experience in software quality assurance or testing, including knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Testing Tools: Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools for test automation.
- Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex systems and identify potential areas of risk or improvement.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to identify defects and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), performance testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record of leading and managing QA teams, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Define and drive the overall QA strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement scalable QA architectures and frameworks that support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Lead efforts in test automation strategy and implementation to increase efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.
- Monitor and optimize QA processes to improve speed, scalability, and effectiveness.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) in a QA context.
- Certification in quality assurance or related fields (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate test results and findings.
