About the position:
This hire will join Stellar Health's Internal Operations team. Stellar's Operations function is responsible for driving strategy and success across our Customers; working directly with sales, provider success, and product to ensure we are effectively deploying the Stellar App to drive outcomes. Reporting into Operations Leads, Associates help drive performance impact for Customers, ultimately ensuring we are hitting key metrics and goals set by payers.
What you’ll do:
- Perform analyses, using excel and SQL, to derive customer and provider performance insights, in addition to other business insights for Ops leadership
- Address analytical/data questions from the Operations team and company leadership
- Support identification of operations team “best practices” through analysis of current practices & experiments
- Support customer target setting process, including both day to day execution and improvements
- Build dashboards that enable the operations team to monitor customer and provider performance and take action to improve performance where necessary
- Support customer and medical group reporting requests as needed
As Business Analyst, you should have:
- At least 2 years of work experience in an analytical role, working with internal stakeholders to answer business questions. (No more than 4 years)
- Preference for individuals who have experience in health tech / healthcare analytics roles
- Experience working with Operations, Finance and/or Sales teams
- You have demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to turn large, messy data sets into actionable insights
- You are an exceptional communicator, and are able to crisply articulate problems and solutions even when operating under uncertainty
- You are experienced in project management - you have the ability to balance multiple priorities, communicate roadblocks, and work effectively within a small and nimble team
- Advanced Excel skills required - including Vlookups, index/match, pivot tables, etc
- Experience with SQL required - including the ability to write/edit SQL queries
- Experience with business enterprise software ( tableau and/or looker preferred)
- Must be able to turn Excel and SQL analyses into usable presentations and memos for consumption across different teams/audiences

Pay:
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 and will be eligible for an annual performance based bonus and equity grant. Where a new hire falls within this range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Stellar's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Stellar rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.
