Our engineering organization is made up of talented people with diverse technical backgrounds. We build modern software using modern techniques such as pairing, test-driven development, continuous delivery, DevOps, using an event-driven and service-oriented architecture. Our team thrives on partnerships with leadership and peers across the company, which enables us to create high-value solutions to clearly identified problems. The Checkout, Payments & Client Trust team has a mission to create seamless, secure, and transparent platform-driven experiences that foster trust and loyalty between Stitch Fix and our clients. We operate in an agile-inspired manner and are fully remote, collaborating across multiple time zones. Our team brings together engineering, product management, data science, UX design, finance, enterprise analytics, and more to enable great client outcomes. We also work hard to balance product feature work with technical investments which deliver measurable results over time.

- You have 5+ years of experience cultivating and managing diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams.
- You have 7+ years of experience building and rapidly scaling real time solutions.
- You have experience implementing resilient, secure, scalable and high-performance payments integrations with major payments platforms.
- You have experience designing and implementing fraud detection and prevention systems to maintain client trust.
- You have proven ability to provide technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and guide the team's approach to designing and building solutions.
- You have familiarity with payment industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and understand payment data analytics and reporting to drive business insights and optimizations.
- You have familiarity with modern tech stacks including technologies like Node, React, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, GraphQL, Redis, and Kafka.
